We have just encountered an error when sending the advance sales tax return. The following error message occurs in the SAP transaction FOTV (management report electronic data transfer to authorities):

  • Return code: BCERROR
  • Text of the return code: JAVA HEAP SPACE

  SOLUTION

After some lengthy (and unsuccessful) troubleshooting, we restarted the SAP Business Connector and were able to fix the problem. Even if the fix is very simple, I didn't want to deprive you of this alternative solution, because we also searched for a long time until we tried this solution.
